Our school has notoriously low parental involvement, which sucks just as much as helicopter parents.  Calling home and getting the “they’re your problem until 3 PM” is a tough cookie to swallow.  We give parents the tools to be involved.  We call home with absences, give them access to student grades, and they still blame us for stuff that happens between 7 am...
